We welcome you to join our congregation and help support
the religious mission of our synagogue by providing a spiritual home for all
Jews. Our synagogue has many activities to
offer. They include daily minyanim,
Shabbat services with separate youth and tot shabbat services, HebrewSchool, Nursery
School, Bar/Bat Mitzvah training, Hebrew learning classes, Bible classes,
kosher kitchen, gift shop, library, day and evening lecture series, holiday
events, etc. Our Shabbat services are rich in content, filled with
prayer, learning, song and fellowship, followed by a delicious Kiddush. There is babysitting for young children who,
at the conclusion of services, hurry to the Bimah to join in the singing
of Ayn K'Elohenu. Family Shabbat
dinners are held regularly during the year.
In addition, we support local organizations such as the SPCA and Toys
for Tots.
We understand the benefit to families to be a member of a congregation, especially one such as ours which is full service to include many beyond what others offer. We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity and that this is the start of a long relationship of your family and ours at Congregation Kneseth Israel.
