Rebbetzin Ijeoma formally invites you to join in the third session of the Rebbetzin's Rosh Chodesh Book Club on Wednesday, July 15th at 5:00 PM EST. Rosh Chodesh is particularly designated for women as both are essential in making sure the festivals take place! Traditionally, it also recognizes that women did not participate in the sin of the golden calf.
Our books will cover diverse topics, Jewish, historical, and others, as time goes on, we will take ideas. For now, we will begin with a monthly zoom meeting, on or about Rosh Chodesh to discuss the book assigned the previous month. In this session, the book is "Heart of a Stranger: An unlikely Rabbi's Story of Faith, Identity, and Belonging", by Angela Buchdahl. This is the life story of the first Asian-American Rabbi at NYC's Central Synagogue. We will discuss both the book and how it relates to some similar experiences of the Shorrs, and some of yours if you would like to share! This will be hosted on Zoom at this link. We look forward to this being an insightful and enjoyable monthly event. 
Rabbi Josh will host a virtual lecture titled "Tisha B'Av -- What's It All About?" on Thursday, July 16th at 5:00 PM EST. You can join via this Zoom link.
